Mother’s Empathy

Description
The model "Mother's Empathy" illustrates the feelings of a child within a family, emphasizing the closeness between the mother and the child, a bond often strengthened by maternal instincts. While acknowledging that every family is unique, this model reflects the author's personal childhood experience, particularly the notion that daughters, as the author herself is, often feel more connected to their mothers than to their fathers.
Concept
Each element of this model represents a person within the family. The use of distinct colors helps to clearly identify the parents in the model. The connecting bridge symbolizes the child, who is moving toward the mother, seeking closeness and comfort through an embrace.
Design Elements
Blue Building: Represents the father, characterized by a structure with mostly covered walls and minimal windows, symbolizing a sense of sympathy that is present but somewhat reserved.
Pink Building: A transparent structure representing the mother, showcasing openness toward the child.
White Bridge: Symbolizes the child's movement toward the mother. The choice of white for the bridge, after much consideration, was made to reflect purity and the neutral role with a simple colour such as white.
