Wooden Bricks
Theory of these Models
Building from limited resources presents a unique challenge for architects, yet it is a fundamental skill. With this in mind, the author challenges herself by using only six offcuts found in a junk drawer. The goal was to push the boundaries of creativity and demonstrate the potential of working with minimal materials.
The results showcase that, even with these six distinct wooden bricks, there is virtually no limit to what can be composed. After careful analysis, the ten most compelling compositions were selected for display, each highlighting the adaptability and ingenuity required to transform off-cuts into structured, intentional designs.
